A band thats touring right now is Motley Crue.
I'm not one of them who listens to them intensively but I can't arguee with the people who does. Motley crue has been a great influence and they are absolutley a landmark for alot of the eightees kids, having sold over 42 million albums worldwide and 25 million records in the US alone.
For you who never heard of the band, Motley crue is an eightees glamrock/heavymetal band. Active today is the singer Vince Neil, the basist Nikki sixx, the guittarist Mickey Mars and the drummer and media whore, Tommy Lee. The bands first single Stick to your guns were realesed in '81. Theire were just a thousand copys made and an original copy would today be worth over 150 euros.
After seling over 20 000 copys of their first album (Too fast for love) Tom Zutaut for Elektra recordes (who discovered guN's and roses later) was convinced.
The bands been in and out of rehab and tommy quit the band for a while but now, nearly 25 years after debutating they're still going strong.

Maroon 5 is hiting the top charts straight away after a longed for comeback.
In brittain Maroon fives new album "It won't be soon before long" was number one last week.
I have no Idea what these guys are thinking with. To be honest, the bands new album really suck. They use to sound and look like they knew what they were doin and now I'm starting to wonder if they are high or just like dropped their talant in the drain (?). Adam is looking really wierd with his new haircut and the video is really taky. I get an Arctic monkeys kind of feeling about this, and if you use to read my other blog, you know that that is bad. (Since I love Arctic monkeys and they totaly broke my heart with the new record.) These guys made a mess of themselfs! Now they're just another boyband to me.Tracklist:
